Tsukioka Yoshitoshi
月岡芳年 (Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, 1839–1892) — the last master. Working at the collision between traditional Japan and Meiji modernisation, Yoshitoshi made prints of such emotional intensity that some considered him mad. He finished his final series in 1892 and died shortly after — the form died with him.
